Eurogamma S.p.A. – Project funded under the POR FESR Toscana 2021-2027
”Internationalisation 2023_2024 for Fantacci Industrie Srl”
With this Project, FANTACCI INDUSTRIE srl intended to consolidate its commercial and marketing strategy in the markets of Switzerland, Great Britain, and Norway, which are highly interesting areas where the Company is not yet present, but where the demand for wood and wood products for construction has rapidly grown in both volume and prices since the end of May 2021.
This action to expand the Company into international non-EU markets must be considered in synergy with a wider 2023 – 2027 Company Development Plan, which also includes logistical expansion through the purchase of a new plant in Certaldo in 2021 and the acquisition of 45% of CUSPIS srl, a Certaldo-based SME specializing in the production of tools, in 2022.
The planned activities have been implemented by carrying out the following synergistic actions
- Specialist internationalisation support services
- Participation in Fairs/Exhibitions
- Communication (Catalogues and various promotional documentation in English) and Web Communication
- Commercial innovation support services – Foreign partner search activities
- Services for Environmental Efficiency
It must be pointed out that FANTACCI INDUSTRIE srl is one of the few Italian companies in the tool production sector (cutters/milling cutters) for processing wood window and door profiles that has managed not only to survive but also to thrive after the multinational company BOSCH decided to enter this market, implementing a policy that forced almost all Italian (and Western European) companies involved in the production of cutters for wood profiling of window and door frames to heavily reduce their presence and, in some cases, even exit the market.
EUROGAMMA S.p.A., with reference to its “Lifting and Maintenance Systems” product line, particularly oriented towards the railway market, aims to strengthen its presence in non-EU foreign markets in the short term: Israel, Egypt, Indonesia, Georgia, and in the medium and long term in the North American markets of the United States, Canada, and Australia (the latter four markets require long lead times—see UL Certification—for adequate preparation for the approach).
To this end, the Company has implemented a diversified strategy that included:
- Preparatory activities for product UL certification (for the North American markets)
- Participation in Fairs/Exhibitions
- Print communication, including catalogue design and various promotional documentation
- Web communication
- Commercial innovation support services
- Foreign partner search activities
- Various Digitalisation activities, and in particular implementation of a CRM System, initiation of Cyber Security development, and implementation of management systems compliant with voluntary environmental standards
This project is part of a long-term Company Development Plan that will see the Company involved in introducing new digital technologies (also thanks to the 2025 Digital Enterprise Call by the Tuscany Region) and pushing into the field of Research and Development in 2026.
